Thy Whisky Distillery is an organic and family-owned farm distillery in Thy on the west coast of Jutland, Denmark.

The founding idea of Thy is to make whisky with a true sense of place and quality based on their local soil and local traditions. Their whisky production is 100% organic and single estate adhering to a terroir-driven approach and a local mindset. All grains used for their whiskies are grown and maltet at the distillery.

Starting in 2010, Thy is recognized as one of the founders of Danish Whisky.

Thy Whisky has been awarded World's best Single Estate Distillery in 2024 and has received multiple awards at international whiskyshows and competitions among others World's Best Wheat Whisky 2025 (World Whiskies Awards) and Best European Whisky 2020 (Jim Murray's Whisky bible).

Thy's core products include Thy, a malt-forward single malt, Bøg, a beechwood smoked single malt and Spelt-Rye, a malted rye whisky. In addition, their series of Limited Editions & Single Casks includes multiple variation of their whisky based on several different mashbill recipes and cask combinations: Heritage barley, wheat, oat, Danish peat & smoke, caramel malts and more.
